Ashley is a Galax native and graduated from Galax High School in 2005.  From there she went to Blue Ridge Community College where she received a degree in Veterinary Technology.  She graduated in 2008 as a Licensed Veterinary Technician and began working at Galax Veterinary Clinic after graduation.  She works as a surgical, inpatient and outpatient/exam nurse. Ashley enjoys working with and helping animals.

Lydia joined the AMS health care team in 2001 as a Veterinary Assistant and, after realizing her love for veterinary medicine, went on to receive her degree as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She is our currently our Director of Patient Care, overseeing the management of our surgical patients, as well as, treating and managing hospital inpatients and outpatients.  She is our small animal nutrition counselor and cat behavioral specialist.   She also manages our small animal emergency cases during and, occasionally, after hours. Lydia has numerous cats and dogs and she also provides care for rescue animals in need.
