Grayson Landcare and Virginia Cooperative Extension will be sponsoring a presentation on sheep and wool production by Dr. Rodney W. Kott. This will be a live videocast held in the media room at the Crossroads Higher Education Center. Dr. Kott recently retired from the Animal Science Department at Montana State University where he spent 33 years implementing programs to improve sheep production, management and marketing throughout the state of Montana. He is credited with reinvigorating wool pools in the state and thus enhancing sheep ranchers marketing opportunities and incomes. Come early for snacks, drinks and networking at 6:00pm; the presentation will begin at 6:30pm. The Higher Education Center is located at 208 Cranberry Road across from the Hampton Inn in Galax.
